A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched Dragon’s 13th operational human spaceflight mission (Crew-13) to the International Space Station for NASA from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 11:10 a.m. on 1 October 2026. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on Landing Zone 40 (LZ-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Dragon spacecraft supporting this mission previously flew the Ax-4, mission to and from the space station. This is the third flight for the first stage supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-12 and one Starlink mission. As part of NASA's Crew-13 mission, two U.S. astronauts, a Canadian astronaut, and a Russian cosmonaut will take part in a long-duration science expedition to the International Space Station. |
