A Delta IV rocket on its fourth launch attempt finally lifts a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS 2F-1) into orbit at 11:00 p.m. on 27 May 2010 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. This cloudy view is a time exposure taken from Treasure Hammock Ranch. The squiggly line below the arc of the rocket is the meandering path of an airplane.
