A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 48 Starlink satellites into orbit along with the BlackSky 12 & 13 earth observation satellites through SpaceX's Rideshare program. The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 6:12 p.m. on 2 December 2021.
The short streak just above the horizon left of center is the entry burn of the first stage making its ninth landing. The booster landed on the droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas stationed out in the Atlantic Ocean.
